if there's any word to describe life now, it has to be Monotonous. oh, today me, wanli & emily skipped chem lecture cos we thought it was boring and pointless to go.. unlucky enough, mr tan happened to pop by at the lecture and discovered that we 3 prominent students were missing-in-action. he caught us in the library but he actually let us off! he just told us to fill up the lecture notes by the end of the day and show it to him.. we even had an interesting long friendly chat with him after school (with loads of hot teacher gossips and life talks). zomg i felt damn bad luh! we've always been making use of him to get away. booo. :( guess we ain't gonna skip again! town with the 2 girls after that to take shots for our econs project.

today i have been thinking about motivation in my daily life. i find myself not trying my best in everything i do, and not because i'm always so lazy to put my best foot forward, but in fear of facing disappointment. i guess that's something that has always affected me a great deal. when you have done your best in something, you'll automatically expect the same level of satisfaction in return; just like how you reap what you sow, or get what you give. But many a times, sadly, it doesn't turn out the way you want them to. it's such a shitty feeling to have your expectations up so high, then when reality shakes you and you don't receive what you hope to from your efforts, it just brings you right down. perhaps that is why i usually do not want to try so hard. when you expect the outcome to turn out bad cause of your minimal effort, and it turns out like it's said to be, it doesn't hit you so hard. or even better, the joy you get when the outcome turns out way better than expected..

such controversies in life, they're never enough. geesh, i worry and think alot.

sister's outing day on sunday.. no one ever really believes we're sisters. haha. i still don't understand how afew can say we look alike. anyway i got my favourite fossil watch i set my eyes on that day! wheeee. love it.. got a shoe too. my 4th pointees with heels. (of which the 3 others give me a friggin hard time with them on).


It feels like the stars are getting closer and the sky is closing in
And I don't know where to begin
We're all looking for something to take away the pain
